Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep. It is an ancient style of yoga that helps the practitioner achieve a state of mind between wake and sleep not dissimilar to what is known as "lucid dreaming". It is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain. Yoga Nidra should be practised lying in Savasana so that you can let go and relax deeply.
